Your satisfaction is our priority – fair refunds for both students and experts.
LiveTaskExperts holds all payments in escrow. Funds are only released to the expert when the student confirms satisfaction OR after a dispute resolution. This policy outlines when refunds are granted.
If the expert has not yet started work (no messages indicating progress, no files uploaded), the student may cancel the project and receive a 100% refund, minus any non‑refundable payment processor fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30).
If the expert has begun but is unable to complete the project due to quality issues or missed deadlines, the student may request a partial refund. The administration will review evidence (chat logs, drafts) and decide a fair amount – usually proportional to the work delivered.
Experts are entitled to payment for work correctly delivered. If a student unreasonably refuses to release payment, the expert can request admin intervention. We may release funds if the expert proves satisfactory delivery.
Go to your project page and click “Open Dispute”. Provide clear evidence (screenshots, chat copy, files). Our team will respond within 48 hours. You can also email support@livetaskexperts.com with the subject “REFUND – Project ID”.
If a student initiates a chargeback with their credit card company without first attempting dispute resolution, the student may be permanently banned and may be liable for costs incurred by LiveTaskExperts.
We may update this Refund Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. The policy in effect at the time of project posting applies.
