Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• “Platform” – LiveTaskExperts.com, including all subdomains, APIs, and mobile versions.
• “Student” – a user who posts projects, seeks academic or professional help, and pays for services.
• “Expert” – a user who provides services, deliverables, or consultation in exchange for payment.
• “Project” – a specific task, assignment, problem set, or consultation requested by a Student and accepted by an Expert.
• “Escrow” – the holding of funds by the Company until the Project is completed to the Student’s satisfaction (or until dispute resolution).
• “Administration” – the LiveTaskExperts team responsible for managing disputes, refunds, and policy enforcement.
• “Service Fee” – the commission charged to Experts (percentage of project amount) for using the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To register an account, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or have obtained parental/guardian consent and be at least 13 years old).
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

We reserve the right to verify your identity and refuse service to anyone for any reason.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately (support@livetaskexperts.com) of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You are liable for all activities that occur under your account, regardless of whether you authorised them.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

4. Marketplace Role & Limitation

LiveTaskExperts operates as an intermediary platform connecting Students and Experts. We do not provide assignment solutions ourselves; we facilitate communication, payments, and dispute resolution. The Company is not a party to the direct service agreement between Student and Expert. As such, we assume no liability for the quality, completeness, or legality of any work delivered.

5. Payment Terms & Escrow

• Student Payment: Students must pay the full agreed price (including applicable taxes and service fees) before the Expert begins work. Payments are processed through Stripe.
• Escrow Protection: All funds are held in a secure escrow account. The Expert does not receive payment until the Student confirms satisfaction or the dispute period expires.
• Service Fee: LiveTaskExperts deducts a service fee (currently 10–20% of the project value) from the Expert’s earnings. The exact percentage is displayed before project acceptance.
• Currency: All transactions are in USD unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion fees are borne by the user.
• Chargebacks: If a Student initiates an unjustified chargeback, the Company reserves the right to suspend the account and pursue legal recovery.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

6.1. Before Work Starts

If the Expert has not yet started work (no files submitted, no progress), the Student may cancel the Project and receive a full refund (minus any non‑refundable processing fees).

6.2. During Work

If the Expert is actively working but fails to meet basic requirements (e.g., missed deadline, low quality), the Student may request a partial refund proportional to the work completed. The Administration will review evidence.

6.3. After Delivery

If the Student is unsatisfied with the final deliverable, they must open a dispute within 7 days of delivery. The Expert will be given 3 days to provide revisions. If the problem persists, the Administration may order a full or partial refund.

6.4. No Refund Situations

• The Student changes the project scope after acceptance without adjusting the price.
• The Student fails to provide necessary materials or feedback, causing delays.
• The Student already downloaded and used the work (e.g., submitted to their school).

All refund decisions made by the Administration are final and binding.

7. Expert Obligations & Code of Conduct

• Deliver only original, plagiarism‑free work. Any use of AI‑generated content must be disclosed.
• Respect deadlines agreed with the Student. Late delivery may result in reduced payment or negative rating.
• Communicate professionally and respond within 24 hours (except weekends/holidays).
• Do not share Student’s personal information, assignment details, or chat logs with third parties.
• Do not solicit direct payments outside the Platform – this will lead to immediate termination and forfeiture of all pending earnings.
• Do not provide services that facilitate academic fraud (e.g., taking exams on behalf of a Student). Projects requiring exam impersonation are strictly prohibited.

Violations may result in account suspension, permanent ban, and legal action for damages.

8. Student Obligations & Code of Conduct

• Provide clear, complete project requirements and any reference materials.
• Do not request illegal activities, cheating services (e.g., paying someone to write an entire thesis and claim it as own), or any content that violates your institution’s academic integrity policy.
• Release payment promptly after satisfactory delivery. Unreasonable refusal to release payment may lead to dispute resolution and potential account penalty.
• Do not contact or pay Experts outside the Platform. Doing so forfeits all escrow protections.
• Rate and review Experts honestly based on actual work performed.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

9.1. Ownership Before Payment

The Expert retains full ownership of all unsolicited work and progress until the Project is fully paid. The Student may not use any partial deliverables without permission.

9.2. Transfer Upon Full Payment

After the Student releases the full payment, the Expert grants the Student a non‑exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute the final deliverables for the Student’s personal, non‑commercial educational purposes. The Expert retains the right to include the work in their portfolio (with anonymisation).

9.3. Platform Content

All text, graphics, logos, and software on the Platform are the property of LiveTaskExperts or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

10. Prohibited Activities (Comprehensive List)

• Posting fraudulent, misleading, or illegal project requests.
• Impersonating another person or entity.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing any user or staff member.
• Attempting to bypass our payment system (e.g., sharing direct PayPal, bank details).
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated methods to access the Platform without permission.
• Uploading malware, viruses, or any code that harms our infrastructure.
• Reverse engineering any part of the Platform.
• Posting spam, affiliate links, or unauthorised promotional material.
• Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

11. Dispute Resolution Process

1. Internal Mediation: Within 14 days of project closure, the Student or Expert may contact support@livetaskexperts.com. We will review evidence (chat logs, files, timestamps).
2. Expert’s Opportunity to Cure: If the issue is quality / missing deliverables, the Expert will be given 3 days to provide a satisfactory revision.
3. Administration Decision: If no resolution is reached, the Administration will decide on the amount to be released to the Expert (including full payment, partial, or zero). Both parties agree to accept this decision.
4. Arbitration: If either party is still unsatisfied, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Pakistan Arbitration Act, seated in Lahore, Pakistan. The arbitrator’s award may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveTaskExperts and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or damage to reputation, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us (if you are a Student) or the total fees you earned (if you are an Expert) in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LiveTaskExperts and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your violation of any law or third‑party rights.
• Your use of the Platform or any service delivered by an Expert.
• Any dispute between you and another user (including payment disputes).

14. Termination and Suspension

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users. Upon termination, any pending payments will be settled according to the Refund Policy, and you must cease all use of the Platform.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced via email (to the address you provided) or through a prominent notice on our homepage.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles. Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Lahore, Pakistan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LiveTaskExperts regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
